History and Development

The Department of Information Engineering was established in 1990 as one of the founding departments of I-Shou University. Over the years, it has developed into a comprehensive academic unit offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, as well as a master's program for working professionals.

With a strong emphasis on both theoretical foundations and practical implementation, the department is committed to cultivating professionals who possess solid technical expertise, innovative thinking, and global competitiveness.
